The KosiM K2 sharpening system model is designed for sharpening standard-sized kitchen knives, folding knives, etc.

The KosiM K2 model is equipped with a swivel assembly that runs on bearings.
The swivel assembly in this model is quick-release, meaning you can remove the knife from the clamps to view the knife edge under a microscope while sharpening.
Positioning of the swivel mechanism is “at an angle”
The material of the swivel mechanism is polyacetal, a precision high-precision shaft.
Universal clamps are fully milled, and have an advantage over “prefabricated” ones in that the thickness and solidity provide greater rigidity, which affects plasticity - comfort and control. The sponges are less prone to bending, which is extremely important for achieving maximum sharpness, especially in finishing operations.
Material 7075 aluminum (high-strength aviation).
Clamps of optimal length, which provides balance that prevents the sharpener from tipping over during sharpening due to a shorter lever.
For knives that have butt descents (such as spiderco), for proper fixation, special clamps are required, which are called clamps for knives with butt descents (sold separately).
For sharpening short knives (less than 7.5 cm), the kit includes L-adapters, with which you can connect two clamps together in the center.
This model is modular. Other accessories are in development, which will be as separate modules for sharpening various types of non-standard tools.
The horizontal bar is lightweight, with a diameter of 6 mm, a length of 60mm, made of high-quality expensive materials.
The bar is collapsible, connected by a connecting sleeve for easier transportation and optimal storage.
The stone holders are made of aluminum. The front holder has a locking screw, thanks to which you can fix stones of different sizes. The width of the holders is 22 mm
The package includes aluminum rod travel stops with springs.
The clutch for fine adjustment of the sharpening angle is included in the package and is designed for smooth adjustment of the sharpening angle. The clutch can also be used as a compensator for the thickness of the abrasive when changing stones that have different thicknesses.
The package also includes a parking hook - an accessory that allows you to fix the bar with the stone during sharpening, changing, or lubricating the abrasive. We chose to produce just such a parking hook, because we consider it the most convenient option currently on the market. Safe, convenient and reliable.
Vertical rod with a diameter of 8 mm for more reliable rigidity. The rod is fixed in an aluminum sleeve, which is fixed in a metal platform.
The horizontal rod rotates on the sliding sleeve, has a large radius of rotation right and left, more than enough.
The sliding unit has no backlash.
The material is polyacetal (high-strength structural plastic), which, paired with the horizontal rod, gives a very quiet smooth sliding, there is no unpleasant noise during operation! This material is also wear-resistant, so it does not require additional sleeves, because they are not as wear-resistant as polyacetal.
A reliable option that has been used for years.
The handle of the horizontal rod is made of hardwood. The handle is securely fixed on the rod, using a metal nut to strengthen the fixing point.
