KosiM model 3+ lifting rack sharpening system is a professional sharpening system, supplemented with new accessories, such as aluminum stone holders, spring-loaded stops, aluminum all-milled bolts for knife clamps, and other bolts replaced with metal ones.
The sharpening system is equipped with a swivel assembly, which is made of a bronze bushing manufactured on a high-precision CNC machine and hardened steel ball bearings. The model with curved clamps, instead of straight ones, makes it possible to sharpen knives of various shapes without additional accessories.
The KosiM swivel assembly is highly precise and outperforms most competitors on the market. This is often a key factor when choosing a sharpener from our production, which has been repeatedly voiced by our customers when purchasing.
The knife is fixed in all-milled clamps. To sharpen the other side, you need to turn the knife over without removing it from the clamps, which speeds up the sharpening process, ensuring uniform sharpening on both sides.
This model is equipped with a new lifting mechanism of its own production. The smooth stroke of this mechanism allows you to set the sharpening angle quickly and with high accuracy with one hand. Which makes the sharpening process faster and more convenient.
The lifting mechanism has a toothed rack, which provides smooth adjustment of the sharpening angle. An additional locking screw allows you to rigidly block the extraction during stripping work, if necessary. An additional lifting rod is used to increase the sharpening angle.
The aluminum part has smoothness adjustment screws initially adjusted by the manufacturer.
It is not recommended to adjust without necessity
The corresponding part of the mechanism is made of durable polymer material - polyacetal - a high-strength polymer with high performance characteristics. Not inferior to aluminum.
The lifting mechanism has no play of the connecting parts.
The collapsible horizontal rod consists of two parts. It is made of high-quality ground steel and has high rigidity. The connecting sleeve provides a rigid and precise connection.
The body of the sharpening system has no horizontal deviations, the blade is clamped parallel to the table.
Universal stone holders allow the use of any abrasive stones with the sharpener, both on blanks and without blanks. The front holder is adjustable, which allows the use of stones of different lengths.
